Badesi landscape characteristics

The landscape of Badesi is a typical Mediterranean landscape, which features a marvelous mix of natural nature trails, and the region’s environmental resources are cleverly blended with ponds, dunes and Mediterranean vegetation.

Badesi Beach is breathtaking. The wide white sand stretches several kilometers across the river Coghinas estuary, and it is one of the most important elements in Sardinia.
Badesi’s “Foz del Corgunas”, which are natural landscapes with plant protection reserves and huge environmental value of the animals. The natural area extends along the northwest coast of Sardinia, between Castellsado and the Trinity D’Agultu for a length of 13 km. Among the endemic species, finally, there are a variety of Lily and many orchids. In winter, reserve peaks are covered with snow, creating stunning snow.
The Badesi area consists of two protected areas of plants and huge environmental values exist for the animals “Corgina River Mouth”. This area extends along the northwest coast of Sardinia, Castel Sado, Agultu, 13 km long. The area includes certain types of animals and plants, belonging to the typical region of the caratterizzata. In birds, the frequent areas are wild ducks, shovel ducks, cockatoos, ducks, seagulls and herons. Instead, fish live, including carp, bream, eel and mullet turtles. Finally, the flower varieties include reed, larch, juniper, willow red willow. The nature trail is open to the public and structured to facilitate visitors’ visits.
